KEC International secures new orders worth Rs 1,303 crore in T&D and Cables businesses

KEC International Ltd. is down 1.71% to Rs 406.4 today, adding to recent declines that have seen the stock slip 0.53% over the last one week.

KEC International Ltd., an RPG Group company, announced it has secured new orders totaling Rs 1,303 crores across its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Cables & Conductors businesses, with notable projects including a 400 kV transmission line in Northern India and 380 kV transmission lines in Saudi Arabia. According to Managing Director & CEO Vimal Kejriwal, the new orders bolster the company's year-to-date order intake to over Rs 7,600 crores and reflect a robust outlook driven by a strong pipeline of opportunities, with the T&D business particularly benefiting from a prestigious project to evacuate power from a hydroelectric plant.

Trading volume reached 6.09 lakh shares today, a decrease of 21.67% from the one-week average volume. KEC International Ltd. tumbled by 52.69% year-over-year, underperforming the 6.43% loss registered by the NIFTY50 index.
